Objects 360o
The section includes the photographic documentation, through the technique of 360 ο photography, of fifty selected objects that belong to the collection of relics and artefacts of the Cathedral of the Annunciation and originate from the time when it functioned as the Roman Catholic Church of San Giovanni.

Holy Chalice. The cup section of the Chalice carries four medals: Jesus Christ, John the Baptist, Mother of God and the Cross with the Symbols of Passion. The base carries four miniature scenes. On the cusp there is an inscription in Russian capital letters. Around the end of the base we discern an engraved barely legible inscription reads: Romanian Skete of John the Baptist, Mount Athos and a seal. Flower column with a statue of an angel from the baptistry of the church, a copy of a work by Donatello and his student Giovanni di Turino. It has a wood-carved four-sided base with embossed floral decoration in the center of each side. Various heraldic crests of royal houses. Capital-lettered inscriptions in Latin characters on bands between the crests. Inside circular partitions and depicted from top to bottom: St. John the Theologian in the Patmos Cave writing the Apocalypse, the Martyrdom of St. John the Theologian, the Writing of the Gospel by John, the Virgin Mary and St. John under the Cross of Christ, Christ & John at the Last Supper. It is divided into five sections, four of which are rectangular parallelograms, while the fifth ends in a semicircle. Inside circular partitions and depicted from top to bottom we see: The Beheading of the Apostle Paul, the Coming of Paul to Rhodes, the Sermon of Paul, the Blindness, Apostle Paul guarding the clothes of the Jews who stoned Saint Stephen. Inscription in the middle of the lower circle: ”DE-MATTEIS-FIRENZE – EZIO GIOVANNOZZI- DIS-”. In the upper semicircular part within a circle three heraldic crests with inscriptions: SAVOIA. In the second part in a circular frame a ship and a castle are depicted with the inscription: “ASSENIO DI RODI 1480 ASSALTO ALLA TORRE DI S.NICOLA”. Inscription on the upper partition: ”FRATER GUGLIELMUS CARTIA MOMXXXVII”. In the second partition in a hexagonal frame, Saint George on horseback slaying the dragon.
